Patience, Patience and Patience
Are the three components of playing poker. No matter how good you are in poker and how much experience you already have, always think of your opponent as a professional maniac, the one who can do anything at anytime with any hand with the great knowledge of poker. In the poker playing, you get good hands and bad hands, as Doyle says in poker after dark intro, poker is not about making good money, poker is about making good decisions. Making good decisions can not made without being patient. Having Aces and not raised preflop for making more moeny, one might force you all in with the pair of 10s while a ten is on the board. Do not loose your patient at atll, fold your best hands, even your raised checks which were raised by your opponent again, and keep in mind that by having patient you can easily get to the point that you want.

Ended up 28th
Today I played three tournoments and I got ending up in the last one 27th. How I did that is the simple strategy. At the beginning of the tournoment there are lots of maniacs and crazy people, try limping in with any hand you have and then try to bluff a lot. It usually works but as you get to the end of the tournoment, people get more conservative and usually playing slow play or a check raise play. I haven't seen any one bluffing at the level of under 100 people remaining in the tournoment. So be careful about bluffing, do not try to bluff a lot unless you know all the guys and know how they play.
Try to make money as much as possible when you are in the lower rakes of play and not in the high limits.
This is the official email I got congratulating me on my performance. (deleted some parts of the poker tournament numbers for my privacy issues)

Tournoment
Today I was playing tournoments at pokerstars.net for my first time. I can say I played almost 10 times and the best rank I got was the 47th. I go for the .10 dollar buy in and fast ones. It seems to me people playing tournoment different than cash games or it was the amount I was not familiar with. I used to play 2 / 5 or 10 / 25 and I was good at that. Unlike the cash games the card patterns was different. Like so many times I got two aces but got beaten up by 5s and 6s. Not even once won with two aces.
One other thing that bothers me a lot is the folding. I did go all in and I had the best hand but because of my internet connection I got disconnected and it automatically folded my hand. It only allow you to have 12 seconds to decide, no matter if you got disconnected or not.

Double Aces
So this is my fourth time trying to use my instinct instead of using the probability facts. Every time someone raises big against me I am sure they have two aces, I tried bluffing them, letting them know I have a 10 and there are two tens on the table. Also, tries to call whatever they have when there was a king on the table. None works, the basic strategy would be to call / raise a little if you have the pairs which are not big pairs. If you have got big pairs raise a little bit more or just flat call and try to get as much possible money as possible out of the pot.

Texas Holdem common mistakes
They can be named as follow:
- Too much bluffing, this is when you are playing as a maniace and bluf any hand you have, there are situtations that bluffing doesn't work. be aware of those.
- Focus on your cards, make sure you always checking the odds against your hand and the hands that can beat your hand, having two Aces in your hand and 6 7 8 9 dealt on the table, it is probably best to check or fold if a raise is made by a passive player.
- Betting with a mediocre hand, It is not smart to play the low pairs
- Slow playing too much, It is not profitable for all times, you need to change from slow playing to bluffing to playing regularly.
- Checking for the better, Check for the better card and not bet for that to come
- Moody, do not get moody when you loose lots of chips, this is exactly happened for me not only once but several times, after loosing two aces to three 10s, I go with no hand the next round all in. The best way is to stand up and calm down and then come back to the table.
- Under betting the pot, try to bet a little bit more with a good hand for the time other ones seeking some specific cards
- Wrong bluffing, it is up to the other player. some fold even small amounts, some call them to see other card.
5 Great Strategies
Making the pre flop bets are always important. Like once I had an Ace, King but decided to limp in and get as much as I can through that hand. What I was not aware of was the fact that a 4 on the flop can make three fours for a person who did pay a little to see the flop, at least I could have raised somehow and then in the flop see how great his hand is.
Some poker tips are based on what hand you've got and based on the hand you play the game. The more important thing in texas holdem is position. When you are sitting on a dealer button and got two ACES is really good hand if someone called before of you but if you are in early position and by your raise everyone folds you didn't get that much of the hand you wanted for.

Mike Caro's 10 Ultimate Poker Tells
If you are looking for playing in Casinos or in private parties with your own friends, tells always play a great role. You can not play without them. This video is about 10 different tells that Mike Caro puts in youtube. As he says at biggining the 10 rules are simple. You just need to pay close attention to what your opponent do. It ranges from cheap stacking to how they ask for money.
The most important part is not to reveal the poker tells if you find one.
Small Ball Strategy
I was surfing the internet, and specially the youtube to find great tips about the poker and how the great poker players play. I came to the youtube video that Daniel Negrano puts an effort in teaching Small Ball strategy. Basically this strategy is to raise small although you have great hands, but not more than 3 of the blind. If someone raised you, then you are in trouble and it is much better to fold the hand. You might also try stealing the hands by having nothing but raising the flop. Always remember if you have had nothing, and someone raised you it is best to fold the hand. Not worth the risk.
These are the three basic videos from Dan Negrano
